[nmglug] a couple of agenda items for this evening

I have not yet seen an agenda proposal for tonight, but I was going to
suggest a few possible agenda items:

[note: someone should tell me soon if "proposing an agenda" is
waaaayyyy too formal for this list!!]

1. The already-ad-nauseam-discussed GnuPG -- if y'all can get jabber
IM accounts on jabber.org we can experiment with GnuPG encryption
on that too. I can also talk a bit about various ssh tunneling
scenarios. I'll have my laptop (y'all should too) ready to hook up
wireless so that we can experiment with mail/IM/ssh.

2. I plan to bring some h/w odds-and-ends for the breakbox computer --
I would *love* to see it running when I go to the SF Baking Company
   for my weekend brunches :-)

3. We could get down to the details on what debian package list to
include in the breadbox, and discuss kiosk distribution issues in
general. I am not especially knowledgeable about this -- all I
have done is to play with the various live-CD distros, but they
"feel" slow, which is a problem. We should also continue the
discussion that Jason started on how to "return to a clean slate".

4. I'd like it if we could be a focus for anyone in Santa Fe (who does
not have LANL resources behind them) who wants to learn to develop
s/w and start working on free s/w. We should all try to bring
people along who want to start doing s/w development, no matter how
inexperienced they are. Gamers might be especially interesting
from this point of view: it's a way of getting a highly motivatable
group of people to become "technical" in the right direction.

5. World domination -- no GLUG meeting can be complete without a
discussion of where we go next to move towards making it easy for
everyone to be a Saint in the church of Emacs.
