Hmmm. That is an annoying problem! You might try 

find / -name "nasty hot dog" -exec rm -fr {} \;

This is a nice command I use to make sure I don't eat any old ones either:

find / -mtime +14 -name "Hebrew National brand hot dog" -exec rm -fr {} \;
