Debian frequently has its own methods of installing kernel
enhancements -- apt-cache finds this:
mozart:/home/rosalia# apt-cache search mosix
kernel-patch-openmosix - Kernel patch for openmosix
libmos - Libraries which help talk to the OpenMosix kernel interface
libmos-dev - Development files for openmosix
openmosix - Utilities to administer an openmosix node
openmosixview - A graphical tool to manage an openmosix cluster
mozart:/home/rosalia#
So you could then install with:
mozart:/home/rosalia# apt-get -u install kernel-patch-openmosix
