You might have a look at Quantian:

   http://dirk.eddelbuettel.com/quantian.html

It's a Live-DVD based on Knoppix (and thus Debian) that has an OpenMosix 
  kernel and user space tools available.  You can boot the whole cluster 
with it.  You could probably find a way to install it's kernel too.
