Hello,
So , Evolution has decided it knows more than me. If I try to write a
rule to have matching emails go to trash , well Evolution does not allow
me to send mail to the trash via the filter. So I guess I'm supposed to
make my own folder called trash or use their "junk filter". So ,
I have been "training" the junk filter , and , er well it doesn't work.
I have a ton of mail that I have marked as junk and I even turned on
reverse checking in the conf. To date , Evolution has never filtered one
piece of junk , even when the junk matches mail exactly , line for
line , that I have already marked junk. So , any ideas how
I am supposed to filter spam? Do I have to make yet another folder to
filter in as the fscking people who make evolution decided users are
not smart enough to write a rule to send mail to the trash ! What
is this a "accident" people have a lot , writing rules to send mail to
the bin? Anyway , Evolution is starting to feel more and more like M$
bloat that works very slow and forces you to compute as non computer
literate people would.
sorry to rant , I just want to know how to filter junk with evolution,
wow what a simple question , I feel like a windows user :\
Any thoughts on a replacement for Evolution , All I do is mail , no
scheduling or other stuff.?
thanks,
jd
