i can't find the actual dynamic link on my system, but i think
the firefox and sun directions are both not quite right, as i
recall. When you download the jdk/sdk for your system, look
in the plugins directory for file:
/opt/jdk/jre/plugin/i386/ns7/libjavaplugin_oji.so
(your path likely varies)
and then find all the firefox plugin dirs, (mine has, for example,
/usr/lib/mozilla-firefox/plugins/
/opt/firefox/plugins/
<and others somewhere, too>
and in each dir, set a dynamic link to the libjavaplugin file,
or even just cp it to the firefox dir. I'm just recommending
that you copy it to every available place so it's sure to find
it. I've had trouble getting it to work in the past, and as i
recall, the soln was to put it somewhere obscure.
