[nmglug] DVDs between PAL and NTSC

Amigos, I used to think that zeroing the regional mask (for example
with k9copy) was all that was needed to make a European DVD playable
in the US.

Now I find that some US DVD players will still complain because they
cannot do the PAL->NTSC conversion on the fly to play on a US
television.

Does anyone have experience with this?  Do you know of a free s/w tool
that will take all the DVD images and videos and re-adjust them to
play on the other format?
