I tried installing the default Wengo Phone for Ubuntu PPC. It doesn't
work and just hangs. It's an old version, 0.9 anyway.
I checked for rpm ppc versions and found a Mandirva ppc version, 2.0. I
converted the rpm to a deb package with alien and installed it. When
trying to run "qtwengophone" I started getting dependecy errors so I
downloaded the rpm's for those packages one at a time and then running
qtwengophone again after install each newly discovered dependency. The
last dependency I installed was "libQtUiTools.so.4" provided by
"libqtuitools4_4.2.2-9_powerpc.deb". When I try to run "qtwengophone" I get:
$ qtwengophone
qtwengophone: error while loading shared libraries: libQtUiTools.so.4:
cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
I checked the files and found:
brianokeefe at ubuntu:/usr/lib/qt4/lib$ ls
libQtUiTools.prl libQtUiTools.so.4.2 libQtUiTools.so.4.2.2.debug
libQtUiTools.so.4 libQtUiTools.so.4.2.2
So its obviously there and was installed in that location by default. Do
I need to somehow point qtwengophone at this directory somehow? After I
installed several other dependencies in the same manner there seemed to
be no problem.
Any ideas?
Muchas Thanks
