[nmglug] hard disk usage

Cool! I searched for an emoticon clue but... Actually I'm the one who is
afraid of offending people and want to make sure that I don't so I am
cool with it all...
I have a dual-boot Powerbook and the Linux partition is 15GB (becuse GL
has such a small footprint!)-the whole drive is 60GB. It's not easy
getting some stuff to run but I paid $3K for this thing some years back
and I will use it until I have absolutely no choice. I want open source
but I keep the OS X partition so I'm synched with my wife's computer as
I help her in her work quite a bit and she is NOT ready for GnuLinux. I
want to earn nothing except knowledge but my age and lack of inherent
brain power preclude that somewhat.
