[nmglug] APC UPS question

Umm, never mind.  Guess the answer to this will depend on whether 
APC's PowerChute network shutdown software is used, or the more 
typical direct serial connection, in which case it doesn't matter. 
(Question was fundamentally about whether this could work through a 
firewall...)
