[nmglug] firewall distribution

Hello

I am looking for a firewall distribution. Last time I did this was a few 
years back and I used smoothwall and did not like its inflexibility and 
need for endless plugins for added features. Also, I am disapointed in 
Smoothwall's website and forum. Its very difficult to get quick answers 
and reliable information. It was easy to setup and use though and it 
might be better now. Before I go installing different firewall distros 
and deciding for myself. I wanted to ask people their experience.

here are some of the features I want:
web-based config
virtual interfaces
vpn
web content filtering
built-in bandwidth graphs
traffic shaping
intrusion detection
hard drive based
