The future of virtualization is currently KVM via libvirt for Linux in
general. You'll want a modern CPU with hardware virtualization support-
that means "vmx" showing up in /proc/cpuinfo on an Intel system (Not
sure what the AMD equivalent is). The only problem I'm aware of with XP
is that it may notice the "hardware change" and probably want a new
activation key.
