Don't know a thing about digitemp, but it sure looks like it's mad about 
not having enough arguments.  Try running with -h or --help, as those 
are the common flags for getting a list of arguments.  Or check the man 
page/info file.

BTW, you might find 'ltrace' to be a humane alternative to strace.
