Sam, Thanks for the response. X starts and works in that I get a gui, but it
is in 3 vertical sections: the left 3", then 3" that overlap and 3" from the
far right. This is what happened in Intrepid Ibex 8.10, but nit in 6.10
[Gutsy].  I will send the requested files next week, I am busy this weekend.
I am dual booting with intrepid and koala, so I can access both file systems
and edit in either.
