I'm trying to run some accounting software (Quasar and MyMoney) and
those need to connect to localhost. I have never set a password for
localhost and my admin password doesn't work. I looked at etc/hosts and
got this:
127.0.0.1 localhost
127.0.1.1 ubuntu.ubuntu-domain ubuntu
# The following lines are desirable for IPv6 capable hosts
::1 ip6-localhost ip6-loopback
fe00::0 ip6-localnet
ff00::0 ip6-mcastprefix
ff02::1 ip6-allnodes
ff02::2 ip6-allrouters
ff02::3 ip6-allhosts
and see I have 2 servers, I think. ubuntu is my username but my password
won't work for that either.
How do I proceed? I tried pgadmin3 to configure postgresql if that is
the database server either app uses. I have no idea if that's the case
but that didn't work anyway.
Help?
