Thanks NMGlug'ers, But I do not have access to the machine and the
user is not going to use the command line. I am not sure how I left
the Update Manager, so updates may not have been done. I think I will
suggest a simple reboot and then stay on the line to see if I can
follow what is happening. I did not set up remote login, "darn".
