I don't remember what the intention was. 

The GNU Pen refers to the place in the Santa Fe Baking Company where the 
meetings are held. It is the lower floor area surrounded by the railing.

GNU pen does not sound right. GNU's love freedom. They desire to
roam the Serengeti Plains free from restrictions. GNU pen is kind of an
oxymoron. You don't find GNU's in pens (except in zoos).

GNU pen could also refer to a writing instrument that a GNU uses when
afk. :)

Gnupen is a place in Sweden.

GNUpen.com and GNUpen.org are short domain names that you could use for
whatever you want.
