[nmglug] help with soft raid needed today sunday

Unfortunately this message is not an offer of help as I have less knowledge
than you, but because I have a pile of Inexpensive Discks and was wondering
how I could get started Redundantly Arraying them. Presumably I need some
hardware, at least some daisy-chaining SATA/IDE cables. Should I bring them
in one of these Thursdays?
