I'm not sure if this has been pointed out or not and I just missed it
but it looks to me like you are using a temporary guest account whose
files get wiped each time you log out and log back in. If that's the
case, you'll need to create a real user account and use that instead.
It looks like your user name is guest-2I0FoS in the config file you sent
above. The next time you log in, your user name will likely be something
different. What is the output of this command issued in a terminal:
$ whoami
Then reboot and log back in and try it again:
$ whoami
