I think it's probably okay to share this, he emailed me directly:
It's a GeForce GT 755M Mac Edition that was actually already using the
Nvidia 390.138 proprietary drivers.
Not the newest, but should be good enough to give the mobile GPU it's
full potential.
I was expecting something a bit older too from Nvidia, I thought Apple
ditched Nvidia a while ago. But maybe that was more recent that I
thought.
