let me try and explain what  the simple issue that presented itself be 
before I began "Fixing" malfunction which has caused this current tumult 
and where i approximately now. I attempted a backup by first clicking on 
the icon then a screen would open which included a small square to 
click, that screen would appear for a fraction of a second and blink 
out. Now i have replaced the icon, (emblem syboliclink.png) in the trash 
is /bin/rsnapshot.sh opening that:#!/bin/bash

echo "backup of a home"
rsnapshot alpha
echo "done"
read -n

using rickety logic icon>parapathetic page (not found page)>home run. 
minus my intervention. Now I will divine your description. Yes we did 
not finish 2:00 AM, by street lamp, outside second street cafe. Thanks
