@Ted, it can do quite a bit, but then my needs tend to be bimodal: either
light work ( email, web browsing, coding ) or heavy work ( analyzing scores
of terabytes ).  For the heavy work, I connect to the cloud. For the light
work, the Chromebook does quite well. What are your use cases?

@Art, I would love to hear about git-annex. From what little I have read,
it sounds like a good complement to the Chromebook.

As for fpm, I rarely build packages, but am always game on hearing about
new things.
