[nmglug] Computer Recommendation??

Hello NMGLUGERS!

I am hoping you can help me with with a recommendation for a replacement 
computer for our Lenovo T510.  We run pretty standard Ubuntu and do 
email, word processing, and internet.  We like Lenovo but could consider 
other options (MSI?).  Hoping to move to a 17 inch screen.  We generally 
hang on to machines for a long time so will want something with a long 
shelf life.

All thoughts welcome!

P.S. do I just need to clean the T510 to fix "Fan Error" or do I need to 
replace the fan?
