It would be great if I could find someone willing to donate older 300 to 800 MHz, but Linux compatible, laptops to the ABE program I work with. We have remote sites in the outlying rural areas we could send a unit and instructor with.

The institution, Clovis Community College, of which I am an employee, has provided the grant-funded ABE program located in the Center for Student Success, where I was assigned five years ago and still located, a lot of nice equipment. The Center is still lacking in two areas: laptops for instructors going to the rural areas and one single large LCD flat-screen monitor for highly dedicated but visually-impaired student. We have Zoom-Text but is only works half the time since some programs will not accept its manipulation.

I am not a director. I am just a network supervisor and computer support specialist for this area. So I am not in the dip on where such resources are or how to ask for such things.
Here is a picture of the Linux-based server sharing to the TABE Testing (Redmond) machines.
