open the /etc/ld.so.conf in an editor, like gedit in a terminal:<br>
<br>
sudo gedit /etc/ld.so.conf<br>
<br>
enter password<br>
<br>
file opens in gedit<br>
<br>
type in as a separate line:<br>
<br>
/usr/local/lib<br>
<br>
save the file, not "save as"!<br>
<br>
That will put the directory and all of its contents into that
configuration file.<br>
<br>
run whatever command you rant that got you to this point in the first
place and there should be no complaints this time.<br>
