Hi All,

I'd just like to get confirmation that I did this correctly a few months back and now with the forwarded email from Cybermesa sounding pretty ominous. I accessed my D-Link router at: http://192.168.0.1/h_wan.html and made these changes (see Primary and Secondary DNS addresses) as per the Cybermesa instructions below. Screen shot of D-Link page inserted. Would someone let me know if I got this right? I don't see any way to do it in Ubuntu as one would in OS X.
If it was working means that it was right,
Dear Cyber Mesa Customer,

Some time ago we contacted you about the impending Primary Domain Name Service (DNS) change to a new number, namely 65.19.7.7 (with the Secondary DNS now 65.19.2.34). The moment is at hand! On the plus side, the new DNS servers are running at more secure locations that provide better stability and back-up power. In addition, you may see a modest speed increase when surfing the Web.

Please read the following criteria to learn if any action is required on your part. The changes are crucial IF:

o You have a static IP
o You have a data circuit, ie a T1 or Enterprise Internet
o You have voice and/or DSL

We hope that most of you have already implemented the switch. We are, however, including the instructions below. The task only requires a couple minutes, but if you find it daunting, by all means give Tech Support a call.

We have created some online resources that will walk you through the changes:
We plan to turn off the old Primary DNS in one week. Thus, we encourage you to take action (if needed) forthwith. We understand that the change will cause modest inconvenience, so we thank you for participating.
