There is a Ubuntu Gnome Remix for 11.10 but if you upgrade to it you
will be stuck there and any further upgrades will require a new
install. this also is a Gnome3 remix BTW.<br>

All I know is that I couldn't find my way around my kid's
ubuntu machine<br>
when they changed to unity.<br>
