I just upgraded my virtual machine running 11.10 to 12.04 Ubuntu and
it sucks! Again, the lack of hardware acceleration (sse3) for my
chipset doesn't allow Unity 3d to run. I tried Mint-Mate-ugly as
sin- but XFCE runs the desktop just fine. Getting all sorts of
system error windows popping up but things seem to work OK
nonetheless. I am still not convinced to upgrade my real machine
beyond 10.10 which works splendidly.<br>
