I finally got the box back from Doug and Shaun at Cyber Network.
Doug copied all the data, he says, from the old failing drive to a
newer drive and put it into a newer box. He also upgraded the OS to
Windows 7. Now what Marian will need is the OS set up so that she
can use her normal software, like Outlook and office programs. Also
we'll get some new cartridges for her printer and hopefully then
she'll have a functioning printer. We will work on getting her a
conference call capable phone if the current multi-function machine
functions. If it doesn't then we'll cross that bridge later.

So set up her OS, get her connected to the web, import all of her
Outlook files into the new app in Windows 7, maybe even her IE
bookmarks, network her laptop, desktop and printer. She would like
to be able to do file sharing between the 2 boxes but she says she's
never known how to do this before when it was set up.

It sounds like she could really use tutoring too but I am Windows
dumb and couldn't assist there at all.

I have no hardware to donate, nor do i know anything not
inferred from<br>
names about HOPE or a "Tewa language program", but they sound
important<br>
to me. Time is scarce for me these days and I live out south
of Santa<br>
Fe, but if needed I would be happy to assist in setting up
software<br>
and/or networking and get an opportunity to learn a little
about what<br>
she and they are doing.<br>
