My wife created a libreoffice document and when she went back to open it it opened but with a dialog box offering "force quit" or "wait". Waiting just hung. Force quit dropped back to the desktop.</div><div> </div><div>In an effort to fix this problem, I did a quick internet search and tried the following:</div><div> </div><div>killall soffice.bin</div><div> </div><div>nothing happened... next</div><div> </div><div>rm -rf~/.config/libreoffice</div><div> </div><div>The second command I ran twice as I left a space in front of the .config </div><div> </div><div>I next opened libreoffice which took its time. It opened but showed no files available to open.</div><div> </div><div>I restarted and it welcomed me to ubuntu like a new install. Now appears there are no files on the disk.</div><div> </div><div>As you might imagine, this constitutes a catastrophic fail on my part. Any thoughts, advice, or assistance would be much appreciated.</div><div> </div><div>Thanks.
