SC0 torches GNU Server
Corporation uses mind-altering effects of popular proprietary software
to stir user uprising leading to soaked server.

By Ima Wildebeast, Gnu News Service April 28, 2004

The monopolistic company SC0 Corp. denied reports on Wednesday that it
took advantage of a recently-disclosed hole in the Micros_ft Office
software to stir up a user uprising. Reporters in the field in Los
Alamos have eyewitness accounts of a unit of mind-numbed firemen rushing
to the home of Gary Sandine to put out the flames supposedly coming from
the the Debian system running services for the New Mexico Gnu/Linux
Users Group (NMGLUG).

On Tuesday, the company launched a hypnotism program using the recently
discovered flaw in the Windows Private Communications Transport Protocol
(PCT) vulnerability. However, on Wednesday, teh company denied that it
used the PCT vulnerability.

The confused firemen received reports from a citizen named Ms. B. on all
of the Windows computers within the fire station. The reports states
that a computer named balrog was going up in flames. When they arrived
at the home and saw the flames coming from Gary's cigar they
over-reacted and proceeded to dowse the ill-fated Debian server.

SC0 spokespersons were unavailable for comment.
