That's an Orinoco Gold, not an Orinoco Classic Gold. There's (as you found out)
a BIG difference. Classic is B-Only and has really good linux support, and an
external antenna port.

The madwifi drivers aren't too hard to compile, but they taint the kernel with
proprietary code. The drivers aren't bad either, but i've had a really bad
experience with the cards - they have terrible recieve sensitivity.
