Here is the scenario,
I am setting a linux box at home so it can provide me web, email, svn,
remote work backup, and other stuff
almost everything works, ...but,
Postfix thinks that all the world sends email from the shell or sitting
in the same lan subnet uses an isp smart host, and I don't want to pay
an ISP (besides the access) or a hosting, that's why I am setting this
box at home, as I will be roaming, I need to fetch and send smtp from my
pc to my server without opening the relay to everybody.
so far Postfix will send to any address in the outside world and receive
any mail from the outside world
but only if I am using a MUA (mutt) from the server itself, is not
letting me pop3 in, nor SMTP out,
I have installed postfix-tls which provides a way to give relay access
to authenticated users, but it doesn't work,
any how-to will be greatly appreciated.
