Dear Glug Members;
I tried loading "potato" on the,  aforesead-mentioned, computer both before 
and after I changed to "boot from CD"...with no luck.
Internet research suggested booting from floppy disk.
which evokes a whole new set of problems for this novice.
Is the suggestion to boot from floppy disk because the disk may be written 
to a "fat" files system?
Is  the floppy a good direction ,Lac tutorial mentioned Suse 9 recovery disk 
alas a quick perusal of the site did not reveal its location, would persuit 
and location of the recovery disk be a better focus.
 Any shared thoughts Cabelleros.
