An interesting aside:  I have a live, bootable version of PRO-Mepis, 
using kernel 2.6.1  When I boot off this CD, I get a rock-solid, very 
classy operating system.  The system is fully functional, even with the 
nasty Qwest ActionTEC DSL modem.  Everything I've tried on that CD works 
flawlessly, including WiFi!  I've been VERY impressed with that 
version.  Of course, things might be different with an installed 
version, as opposed to booting off of the live CD.
