No matter how you configure it, the actiontec always gives itself as the
primary DNS. For some reason this plays nicely with Windows but breaks
dns requests on GnuLinux. I have to remove the first line in
/etc/resolv.conf (nameserver 192.168.0.1), every time I get a dhcp
assignment, to browse again.
Also, the actiontec is very buggy. Many times I have made changes that
get lost or blow all the settings out and I have to reconfigure from
scratch.
It requires a reboot every 3 to 6 months or so. Occasionally something
has gone so wrong on them that I have had to unplug them for 2 minutes
to make them work! This has been confirmed by qwest tech support.
The built in wireless on the new (black) actiontec is CRAP!
The firmware upgrade does not seem to fix much at all!
I think thats it for me.
