I forgot to mention that, shortly after fixing my inferior outlook
clone, I happened upon this enlightening article:

Which has pointed out some very important aspects of the IT industry to
me.
Perhaps it will teach you the same lessons it taught me and you'll never
have to have problem with linux again.
