I also ran:

Available audio output drivers:

        nas     NAS audio output
        mpegpes DVB audio output
        null    Null audio output
        pcm     RAW PCM/WAVE file writer audio output

I see no alsa driver listed though I have the alsa wrapper for oss
installed.  ??
