[nmglug] Help with transition from Windoze 98 to Linux

don't think you'll want to boot to the 98 drive, just slave it and
copy what you need. Linux should have no problems with a FAT or FAT32
partition.

i would mount your slaved drive as RO to protect anything you want to
keep before you get it safely transferred to a good OS.
