"babbling Baobabs of disk usage" reminds me of Spiro Agnew's "Nattering
Nabobs of Negativity" when he referred to anti Viet Nam war folks.
Anyway, I do have an external drive that I move music, photos and docs
into and that will always get me some space.
How ruthless can I get with var? It's 842MB according to du. Any ideas
about the huge Mozilla directory? du says 639MB. Home is big at 5.7GB
with Mozilla at the top followed by Beagle at over 500MB, Desktop and
Pictures I can trim at 1.3 GB total, ffmpeg is 264MB wit Truetype fonts
being the hog in that directory. Var is 842MB with the cache directory
at 340MB.
If I clean up my desktop and Pix and dump Beagle and figure out the
Mozilla thing and can trim /Var I think I'm there.
