Hi,

I am sort of urged for an answer

given this info,

is it possible that the subnet at 172.16.190.0 does not know how to
reach 192.168.51.0/24 ?
(there are no firewall restricting rules in this case)

traceroute
from the router (192.168.50.1)

root at ipcop:~/scripts # traceroute 172.22.1.5
traceroute to 172.22.1.5 (172.22.1.5), 30 hops max, 40 byte packets
1 192.168.50.254 (192.168.50.254) 0.623 ms 0.539 ms 0.462 ms
2 172.16.191.117 (172.16.191.117) 3.104 ms 3.075 ms 3.010 ms
3 172.16.190.12 (172.16.190.12) 9.057 ms 9.988 ms 4.593 ms
4 172.22.1.5 (172.22.1.5) 3.675 ms 3.663 ms 3.604 ms

traceroute
from within the lan (192.168.51.1)

andres at mac:$ traceroute 172.22.1.5

traceroute to 172.22.1.5 (172.22.1.5), 64 hops max, 40 byte packets
1 192.168.51.1 (192.168.51.1) 1.421 ms 0.973 ms 0.943 ms
2 192.168.50.254 (192.168.50.254) 1.408 ms 1.361 ms 1.276 ms
3 172.16.191.117 (172.16.191.117) 4.103 ms 3.901 ms 3.923 ms
4 * * *

Thanks,

Andres Paglayan
