[nmglug] filesystem optimization on software raid 5

Hi all

I am setting up a raid5 with 4 x 320gb drives. I am deciding what 
stride, block size, bytes per inode etc. This filesystem will store 
recordings that range from 50 to 2000mb, average of 350mb. It will also 
house a massive compressed audio library. Perhaps 30 thousand songs, 
average 3mb size each. I would like to optimize mostly for the larger 
files since they will be used in live production.
