[nmglug] How to reset password

Hi Satguru,

There are probably a dozen ways to do this.  My personal favorite is to
boot, then when you see GRUB, hit esc.  A list of kernels appears.
Press "e" to edit, then a detail screen appears.  Use your arrow to
choose the second line (the one starting with "kernel" in it) and press
"e".  You're now editing the line.

Arrow to the end of the line (or press "End") and append the word
"single".  Press Enter to finish editing, now press "b" to boot.

You will boot into single-user mode, where you should be able to execute
"passwd [your username]".
