Hi,

I am parting 4 1tb disks,
the schema is the following

1gb of each as raid 1 bootable mounted on /boot

the rest as raid 10 for the other mount points,

now,
this is how I am doing it,

I fire up the installer, ubuntu lts 804
and set up the two partitions on each disk

then I use the installer to create the first raid, the raid 1 on the 4
1gb partitions for boot,

then I go to other terminal alt-f2
and issue
madamd --create /dev/md1 --level=10
--raid-devices=4 /dev/sda2 /dev/sb2 /dev/sdbc2 /ev/sdd2
and md1 is started

then I go back to alt-f1
and I see the two RAIDS, the 1 and the 10
and I issue all the partition stuff,

when I hit write the stuff to the disks,
it fails saying that it the devices md0p1 and so on can't be find

so how on earth you get to partition the disks before installing?
