I have Ubuntu 11.04 installed on Marta's notebook and wireless works 
fine.  She may just need to select  her wireless network using the 
network icon at the upper right side of her screen.  It is fan-shaped.  
That's all I can recommend without more information.

My friend Gurnam has installed 11.4 and she says that she has no 
wireless.  She says that it is an extremely complicated process to get 
it up and running....any ideas???

I sent this to two of you who know about ubuntu
