That's good news Brian, I'm glad to hear it's working.

I do have to say that having recently switched back to Linux on the
laptop (from OS X) I'm surprised by the wireless issues across the
board. I disassembled this new Asus laptop running 12.10 and replaced
the mini PCI Atheros 8131 (slow wireless speeds at 72 MB/sec maximum)
with an Intel Centrino 6230 only to find I had to disable 802.11n due to
framing errors. There are innumerable posts on various forums about
wireless problems with the 6230 and other 802.11b/g/n chipsets.

I guess we can only hope the Linux wireless situation gets better with time!
