[nmglug] considering ubuntu alternative: suggestions?

It should also be noted that there is a Linux Mint: Debian Edition, which
does ports from the Debian repositories directly rather than waiting for
them to be routed through the Ubuntu customizations. It has not received as
much attention from the community as the Ubuntu-based main distro, but I
believe Clem *et al.*'s plans are to move to the Debian base by the time of
the next Long Term Support release.
