[nmglug] recommendations for $400 laptops to run GNU/Linux?

If used enterprise laptops are too old and won’t cut it, I’d consider looking at chromebooks. I think $400 is around the median price now and a lot of them can run Linux as a container, though a full Linux install is still an option
