[nmglug] Mini-tutorial, Web Scraping with BeautifulSoup, tonight

A couple meetings ago, we talked about web scraping, and I offered
to give a tutorial on how to scrape with the Python module
BeautifulSoup. There was also interest in selenium, which I
hadn't used at the time, but now I have so I could talk about
that a little.

Unfortunately it turns out I have another commitment tonight at 7.
So what I'll do is try not to be late to the meeting at 5:30, and
for half an hour I can give an introduction to HTML, the DOM and how
to do simple scraping with BeautifulSoup.

Then at the next meeting on Oct 28, if anyone has any questions
about BeautifulSoup I can continue with that, and then if people are
still interested in selenium, I can talk about that and about how you
can use the two packages together.
