Karl;
Thank you for the information,however I do not locate it as indicated,
perhaps, tomorrow a club member can assist regarding the matter.
I do find the manual pages (1),(8), they may be useful thus I will ask a
helpful person to show me those ropes.
I do find /usr/share/doc/apache2/examples/apache2.conf
which addresses vhosts without referring to /etc/apache2/sites-available and
more like the documentation I have seen for apache 1.3 thus my ensuing
confusion and your recent (5-25-05) recomendation to use
/etc/apache2/sites-available.
www.apache.org vhost does not address /etc/apache2.sites-available at least
through my inexperienced eye.
mod_macro (7-30-02}your communication to debian.org , I see you are a
campaigner for that module and have been around a long time and I know you
guys are busy at lac and work in the heady atmosphere of Las Alamos,I like
the place myself.
Karl I appreciate your various responses perhaps the innefficiency inherent
in written communication is advice wasted on such a beginner as I. AnthonyK
